Lisa & Ramil are getting married at The Royalton in Vaughn, and originally when I met Lisa we were only going to do ceremony & personal flowers. We ended up collaborating on a concept for the centrepiece that will keep both Lisa and Ramil happy! I will post pictures after the wedding and tell you all about our happy medium solution. *wink*
The dressses are a gorgeous champagne colour and the flowers we’re going to be using are a mix of pink roses, freesia and lisianthus. Lisa’s bouquet will be made with two toned pink and ivory malibu roses, with pink mini calla lilies and white freesia. Freesia is one of my favourite little accent flowers. It smells heavenly, and the buds add touch of green without being too much. Lisa & Ramil are super sweet, and have been a lot of fun to work with so far! Can’t wait to see everything come together for the both of you!

We were asked to provide some fleurs for a wonderful event to promote the book, Be… A Woman: Expressions of Life. The event was held at the Verity Club, in downtown Toronto on Thursday, June 11. Kim MacGregor is an author, motivational speaker and an absolute sweetheart! It was our sincere pleasure to provide the flowers for this wonderful event and great cause. Please check out her website for more information on how you can obtain her beautiful book. When you purchase the book online, $10 is donated to the Look Good, Feel Better Organization. An all around win win! And while you’re there, nominate an everyday amazing woman for the Be… A Woman Awards. It’s absolutely fabulous to recognize that amazing women don’t have to be anything more than who they really are in their day-to-day lives to be an inspiration to women everywhere. Cheers to the Women that BE!
Here is what Kim had to say about RFC after the event…
“I truly appreciate your generous contribution to our event. The arrangements you put together were stunning! Your flowers looked beautiful and gave the whole room a magical touch! So happy to know you!
We have received so many great comments about the flowers - they were a wonderful addition!”

Every guest that left the event at Verity, took home one of the ribbon wrapped roses in the larger vase. They looked like flower lollypops! Soo cute, and such a nice touch!

Melinda Roopa of Fairytale Events contacted me on Tuesday of last week to see if we would be able to assist her clients, Rosane & Jonald for their wedding that Saturday, June 6th, 2009. Unfortunately, they had a falling out with their florist and desperately needed our help! We came up with two versions of the low centrepiece because they couldn’t decide, and a few little extra nice touches to make their wedding day as special and beautiful as they had always envisioned it to be.
Here are a few pics that we took, but we’ll post more as soon as we get them from the photographer. I keep forgetting to take those pics! Can someone please remind me?!?!! Roseane and Jonald, we are thrilled that we were able to step in to create the floral ambiance to make your wedding day complete! We wish you all the best and hope you had the perfect day you’ve always dreamed of!

Kelsey & Matthew were one of the sweetest couples to work with! They were married last Saturday @ The Manor, in Kettlesby and for those of you that haven’t been there, it’s absolutey gorgeous! They were married outside, and the weather held out perfectly, as it started to get windy and cloudy just after the ceremony. Here are a few pics I took after we set everything up. Congratulations to the both of you! I wish you nothing but happiness together! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
