Rosanna and Jag were married this past summer @ The Terrace Banquet Hall.  Rosanna knew that she wanted to have an amazing mix of colours for her wedding, so we chose a palette of purple, ivory, green, yellow and pink to pop off their plum purple dresses.  I love it when brides have colour in their bouquets and this bouquet completely fit that bill. It consisted of pink gloriosa lilies, orange calla lilies, yellow freesia, pink cymbidium orchids, and purple lisianthus.  Absolutely scrumptious!  Rosanna was so easy to work with and open to all of my ideas… We did submerged pink and green orchids for the head table, as well as curly willow and green dendrobium orchid centerpieces for the guest tables.  The colours were so much fun, and working with Rosanna was awesome!  All of the pictures are courtesy of Reno from Studio Arash.

Erica and Rob were married in the romantic Brule room @ The Old Mill this past November.  Their colour scheme consisted of purples and ivory, and soft golds which really worked well in the space.  They were also chosen for the hit television spin off series to Rich Bride, Poor Bride on Slice Network called Rich Groom, Poor Groom.  The episode is due to air sometime in June, so I’ll leave the details of the wedding for the show, but wanted to share some pictures captured by the absolutely talented Lisa of LG Weddings.  Please check out her blog for more of this beautiful wedding, and I’ll make sure to post when the show  will air so you can see all the details of how this gorgeous wedding came together!  Thanks so much Erica and Rob for choosing me to work with you on your special day, and I wish you both all the very best together!

Where have we been? Good question… We are actually prepping for our last wedding of the year, this coming Saturday.  Although we’re sad to say Goodbye to a Rock Star 2010, we welcome the short lived break to re juice, until we sharpen our tools once again and create beautiful blooms for my bestie’s wedding this coming January.

We have some awesome weddings collecting dust on the hard drive, which I’m just chomping at the bit to edit and share as they are waaaay overdue.  So, in no particular order, I bring you the RFC remaining summer, fall, and winter weddings of 2010.  And we’ll start off with Lisa & Peter, who had a charming brunch wedding at The Donalda Club, in Toronto.  Photos courtesy of the ultra fabulous Pink Pearl Images, who you should definitely check out because they are absolutely fantastic!

Lisa had a fun and funky personality, and she definitely didn’t want to do something traditional.  So, we went for green hydrangea, white commercial mums, yellow billy balls, and mini white gerbera daisies with juicy fat pearls in the centres for a little zip.

Carolyn and I had a lot in common in terms of flower style.  We discussed our love of ribbon, specifically Mokuba ribbon which brings tears to my eyes every time, and how to incorporate it into the wedding. The ceremony that was in the Westminister Room was kept classic with the use of curly willow and ivory dendrobium orchids in trumpet vases.  We decided  to mix the modern colour scheme of orange and grey,  into the vintage, more traditional vibe of the Guild Hall, at The Old Mill, and it worked perfectly!  Ranunculus, dusty miller, berzillia, and tulips gave us the pops in our colour story that we needed.  Little vintage yellow bud vases with our choice florals filled the cake table and the head table tucked in between 2 long and low orange rose “beds”.  They were soo beautiful!  This wedding was an amazing splash of colour, with tons of delicious details and a true representation of Carolyn’s personality!  Which is exactly what your wedding should be!  A representation of you and your new partner! Boston Images was kind enough to send me a CD of their unbelievable work displaying this fun spirited wedding, and I am thrilled to share them with you!

Robin & Richard are both really funny- we totally clicked and definitely shared some laughs planning the concept for their garden inspired wedding!  I have to say that their ceremony was really touching and you could really feel the love everyone present had for them.   They were so trusting, and gave me a lot of creative freedom!  This was definitely one of my favorites!  Check out the gorgeous pics that Lori from Lori Studios captured  at the absolutely STUNNING Spadina House.  Check out her blog for more eye candy of this super sweet wedding!
