Richard & Rhea were so much fun to work with!  They had so much spunk, personality and most importantly of all… They were madly in love and couldn’t wait to get married!  Rhea lived in Ottawa at the time, and now they both reside there together.  We helped them out as much as we could with wrapping and embellishing their favours, providing linens, seating table cards, menus and table numbers.  It was a first for us, but we’re thrilled with how it all turned out and not only do we have these awesome experiences, we made friends for life!  Richard & Rhea, you two are such beautiful people, a joy to work with and it was an absolute honour to be a part of your special day! XOXO

Ok… I have to come clean here, and confess… I AM NOT A FAN OF PLAIN JANE TABLE NUMBERS!

You know the ones that the venues provide, usually done on plain paper and then they laminate them so they last forever unfortunately.  Well, I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be that way… There are so many creative options to make your tables look fantastic as well as serve their purpose.  Here is a bit of inspiration to get you going.  If you’re stuck and not sure what to do, email me your wedding theme, an inspiration picture of your centrepiece and your wedding colours and I will help you come up with something unique, modern and creative! I’m sure you will agree that any one of these options look better than the first.

This first picture is taken from one of my lovely couples engagement photo shoot.  They took creative pictures holding a number that represented their table number all over the city… They did some on the subway, in the park, just different poses to capture the number and it was personalized and adorable!  One of my favs! These pictures are from Mississauga Convention Centre in Mississauga Ontario.

Rosanna and Jag were married this past summer @ The Terrace Banquet Hall.  Rosanna knew that she wanted to have an amazing mix of colours for her wedding, so we chose a palette of purple, ivory, green, yellow and pink to pop off their plum purple dresses.  I love it when brides have colour in their bouquets and this bouquet completely fit that bill. It consisted of pink gloriosa lilies, orange calla lilies, yellow freesia, pink cymbidium orchids, and purple lisianthus.  Absolutely scrumptious!  Rosanna was so easy to work with and open to all of my ideas… We did submerged pink and green orchids for the head table, as well as curly willow and green dendrobium orchid centerpieces for the guest tables.  The colours were so much fun, and working with Rosanna was awesome!  All of the pictures are courtesy of Reno from Studio Arash.

When I met with Karen during our consultation,  I immediately knew I wanted to work with her… She is so charismatic and has an amazing sense of humour!  Her vision for the wedding was rich deep reds, black accents and a touch of gold… It was an amazing colour palette to work with, especially in November when everything could use a punch of rich colours.  We used black magic, black baccara and red spray roses, red mini gerbera daisies with dark centres, and even some rich burgundy carnations to fill the centrepieces and add some texture.  I went on the hunt for the perfect ribbon with sparkle factor to accent the square glass vases  for the centrepieces, because the original one we were going to use was discontinued… A happy accident because the second choice really was an absolute perfect option.  Here are some pictures that capture their day courtesy of Joseph Micheal Photography.  Please make sure to check out his blog to see more images of this wedding.  Karen & Richard, if you ever want to get married again (just for fun) I’d be there in a heartbeat!!! Erica and Rob were married in the romantic Brule room @ The Old Mill this past November.  Their colour scheme consisted of purples and ivory, and soft golds which really worked well in the space.  They were also chosen for the hit television spin off series to Rich Bride, Poor Bride on Slice Network called Rich Groom, Poor Groom.  The episode is due to air sometime in June, so I’ll leave the details of the wedding for the show, but wanted to share some pictures captured by the absolutely talented Lisa of LG Weddings.  Please check out her blog for more of this beautiful wedding, and I’ll make sure to post when the show  will air so you can see all the details of how this gorgeous wedding came together!  Thanks so much Erica and Rob for choosing me to work with you on your special day, and I wish you both all the very best together!
