Creative Wedding Table Numbers

Ok… I have to come clean here, and confess… I AM NOT A FAN OF PLAIN JANE TABLE NUMBERS!

june62009-3

You know the ones that the venues provide, usually done on plain paper and then they laminate them so they last forever unfortunately.  Well, I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be that way… There are so many creative options to make your tables look fantastic as well as serve their purpose.  Here is a bit of inspiration to get you going.  If you’re stuck and not sure what to do, email me your wedding theme, an inspiration picture of your centrepiece and your wedding colours and I will help you come up with something unique, modern and creative! I’m sure you will agree that any one of these options look better than the first.

This first picture is taken from one of my lovely couples engagement photo shoot.  They took creative pictures holding a number that represented their table number all over the city… They did some on the subway, in the park, just different poses to capture the number and it was personalized and adorable!  One of my favs! These pictures are from Mississauga Convention Centre in Mississauga Ontario.

YAY! It’s a brand New Year!  We hope your holidays were filled with sparkly delights and lots of time with the people that matter the most!  To all the recently engaged couples CONGRATULATIONS!!!

As we kick off the first day of 2011, there was quite a bit of reflection as we’ve PROCESSED the past year quite a bit.  If we are going to live to our fullest POTENTIAL, we need to PLAN ahead and make sure we schedule some PLAY time which will of course make us much more PRODUCTIVE.  Our PASSION is really what separates us from the pack, and we’re exploring our PLATFORM to make sure that everyone knows it!  With a little PATIENCE + PERSISTENCE, & of course a  POSITIVE outlook, this year will be extremely PROSPEROUS while we continue to make all things PRETTY.

Outdoor Garden Wedding @ Spadina House

Robin & Richard are both really funny- we totally clicked and definitely shared some laughs planning the concept for their garden inspired wedding!  I have to say that their ceremony was really touching and you could really feel the love everyone present had for them.   They were so trusting, and gave me a lot of creative freedom!  This was definitely one of my favorites!  Check out the gorgeous pics that Lori from Lori Studios captured  at the absolutely STUNNING Spadina House.  Check out her blog for more eye candy of this super sweet wedding!

Winter Wedding At The Old Mill

I love winter weddings, and Nina & Igor’s wedding at The Old Mill this past November did not disappoint.  Nina’s classic bouquet consisted of  ivory calla lillies, and Igor’s boutonniere was made up of 2 mini calla lillies, with a thin gold wire detail.   The bridesmaid’s bouquets consisted of ivory vendella roses, freesia and seeded eucalyptus.  All of the bouquets had a custom pearl brooch that we applied to the champagne satin ribbon wrapped stems.   Every detail from the pew decor to the ceremony pieces were reused at the reception.  We even did their guest favors which were lucky bamboo in a square vase.  Nina & Igor are also extremely talented photographers.  You can read Nina & Igor’s lovely testimonial here.  Congratulations to the both of you, and I am so extremely honored to have been a part of this absolutely perfect day!
