I came across this post from Rhonda Patton Weddings (Whose blog I’m loving right now) and just had to share! How pretty are these? I absolutely love ‘em!  They are just so precious!

Here is what she says about Glamelia’s directly from her site…”Glamelia’s date back to the 40 & 50’s. Designing a glamelia is old school artistry. They are handmade from invidividual rose petals {or other flower petals} and crafted to look like one large bloom. The design can be tedious and time consuming but make for beautiful bouquets or corsages.”

  1. Hi Mirella,

Wow - thanks so much for posting my glamelia’s. I think they make such beautiful flowers, especially for brides who are after a more individual, handmade look.

You have some great links and pics on your blog and website.

    :)

  3. I carried a white glamelia when I married in 1964. I was told it was a cross between a gladiola and a camilia. It was like these pictures and was done with ivy and had a length of white flowers off the end-they looked like gladiolas. Just a little info. Take care, Mary P.S. It was breath taking!!
